6.50 (above average) I'm a huge fan of viking mythology, so, when I heard this three magical names I was like: "OMG! I have to watch this". Meh.... It's not a bad series, but it's not great (the comedy, the romance... they're just ok) and, certainly, besides the names, there is absolutely noooooo relationship with viking stuff (I think it was better off this way...).

9.00 (very good) OMG!!! What a drama (the 80's were the real deal)!!! xDDD Of course this is a twisted, hurtful, complicated story, but at the same time, I can't deny how cool is it. The ambiance, the plot, the power relationships... bottomline: is a terrific way to tell a heavy story! The sex scenes are works of art, from the angles to the dinamics (that blondie long hair flying in the middle of the air as soon as he gets to the climax... O-M-G...) In the end, it's an obligated reference to anyone who claims to be a yaoi fan -^_^-

9.50 (excellent) Otomo-sensei is one of those huge institutions that you have to respect, he really is. They usually say that Akira was an important break back in those days, but I think that it keeps current, valid and active... The idea of this post-apocalyptical world, the supreme stupidity of the dirigent class when they try to control this immense power, the misery, the brutality amidst the technology. It's just one of the most illustrative postmodern manifestos!

5.00 (moderate) Meh... I actually liked Sex=Love2 more (Ironic, Ryo, with his 17 years is more sensual and tempting than Satan himself...Ecchi-wise, S=L2 has more tastable material... what's that about?). The idea is not bad and it has nice details but... too include Lucifer as a tender, lovable boyfriend (for a grey, suffered, useless chick... do me a favor!)... it sounds kinda lame... We're talking about the Lord of Darkness, the Fallen Angel, aren't we? I mean, in the West we are taught about Heaven and Hell and stuff our whole life (wether we believe or not) and they picture us pretty hard core scenarios, so, from where I see it, it could be more difficult for us to believe this Disney-like story. If the sex scenes had been more explicit and creative... it could have worked better. But it's too soft, censored and weak so.. no, Kai may be a demon or whatever, but not the actual Evil Big Guy.

3.00 (poor) I've read various mangas from Watase-sensei gladly (I'm an honest fan), but I was bitterly dissappointed by this one. I understand the roll that every stereotipycal character must play in this shoujo manga, but enough is enough, this one is very poor: Why is there always have to be so many secrets? Why does the lame heroine always have to put up with everything so selflessly and quietly? Can't it work out without all those cheesy resources? I mean, for a story where words are the most important thing, communication is the greatest absent. Tanpopo wasn't that weakling, neither Takiko... So? And what's that sick possesiveness thing about? "Steal a boyfriend"? Dude... he's not a thing, he has a free will, hasn't he? "Love always hurt"? I disagree. If the situation hurts, makes you miserable and torments you... for ME, that's not love (it has turned into something else). Who knows? Maybe I personally disliked it so strongly because I happen to have a younger sister and she's my adoration, I would NEVER choose anyone before her. To even think that the presence of some guy may destroy or weaken the bond between sisters... it makes me sick. As for the rest, in my opinion, anyone who see themselves as a poor victim and think that all humans are the same (or feel ashamed of human condition) is a boring mental weakling.

5.00 (moderate) I never played the game. Certainly, it's nothing thaaaat special, but it does have its charm xD. Idea Factory launches another eye-candy male harem and I appreciate it: Shin (my personal favorite) is passionate, forcible, kinda tsundere; Ikki is more loose, sensual (sexual) and charming; Kento didn't attract my attention at all at first, but then he turned out to be very considerate, dedicated, tender and rational ( even when it comes to a relationship OMG!), Toma is brutally sweet, but also kinda misguided about what it means to "protect" (it's quite scary at some point :S) and that strange fellow called Ukyo, with his split personality and constant murder-attempts (or rather "murders"?) also creeped me out a little. Of course, I try to overview the fact that the heroine actually doesn't have a name... at all! It's kinda creepy when you think about the vicarian ramifications of that fact and the extreme passiveness of this broad, but oh, well... I think the ending really sucked... so open and undefinitive... I'm sure it will be a second season, but there's practically no backbone behind this story, just a feable excuse to feed us cool male sterotypes.

9.00 (very good) Very interesting movie! Based on George Akiyama's manga and produced by Toei Animation, this film was considered "anti-Miyazaki" in the following review: http://www.scifijapan.com/articles/2012/07/27/asura-the-anti-miyazaki-anime-film/ I'm not quite sure about the reasons behind this adjective; I dare to think that it's related to the style aesthetics behind the main message: Miyazaki's style is about sublimed beauty, subtle hints and the presence of memory and magic in their various manifestations...here's quite the contrary: it's a world too real, painfully real, in which the path towards final revelation is not only hard, but brutal, even repugnant. It would seem that the general ambiance starts with the premise: "Create enough hunger, and everyone's a criminal". However, amidst the famine, the horror and the need of life, it also rises an impulse of deep humanity.

8.75 (very good) Huge kung-fu fan here! The story is pretty awesome, the characters are solid, the philosophy is legit... The only but would be the ending... I'm not gonna drop hurtful spoilers (although this issue must be quite well known), but that was NOT the couple that I wanted to see in the end! I mean, c'mon! All along they gave us the impression and the expectation of a different main couple! (I still don't accept it... that's why I'm pouring my hopes on Korra...¬_¬)

6.75 (above average) It's not bad, it's not super-wow, but it's good enough (although the dynamics is kinda weird and tripped :S). The concept of "text weavers" is not new at all, but I like the chick's character and coolness and the guy's has enough charm.

6.25 (average) Well... it's good enough. Shinjo-sensei's art has improve with years, the female character also is kinda more solid and respectable than the previous ones and the ero-hero is funnier and more loose :D. I don't know what to think anymore... All this mangaka's stories have got quite a dose of smut and ecchi... even when it had the same amount of coherent plot as a porn movie, I ejoyed it. Now, it takes chapters and chapters for anything subtle to happen! What's that about? I don't mean that I want the forced sex (near rape) scenes back but... something in between would be nice... :/

8.75 (very good) Pretty cute series! As a former kendoka, this story meant a lot, 'cause I saw many of my own fears and impressions reflected on those scenes. It's not the epitome of anything, but it's very good: the plot, the characters, the comedy, the special situations...Bottomline, t's endearing. And, of course, if you practice Kendo, this is a must-watch!

9.50 (excellent) Excellent manga! I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw the title, but I started reding it and I just fell in love with it. This story kinda reminds me the pastoral novels (released during the Rennaisance), where the authors painted an ideal countryside full of noble, kind people who are able to cure the hero of his aches and doubts (in opposition to the city)... The innocent, brave and immaginative Naru-chan also reminds me of Ryushika (manga written by Abe Yoshitoshi, they're both brilliant and cute!). It's just very refreshing, very natural and terribly funny. Highly recommendable for anyone who likes to switch off! (I feel so identified with Seishu! I love calligraphy, I overwork, I don't like kids (although they seem to like me ¬¬) and I loooove cats even when I'm brutally allergic to them! >.<!)

8.50 (very good) Such a lovely movie! The graphic style (as for characters) is a little bit more modern than the usual Ghibli signature, so it looks kinda refreshing. The story is not as deep as it was in the first movie, but it¿s quite cute. I loved that Haru, with the Baron and other cats' help, passed of being a regular/gray/boring high school chick to a cool/self-confident young woman. Those kind of "makeovers" are my favorites :3

9.75 (excellent) OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3 This one was such a cute treat!!!!!! Personally, I'm not very fond of the classical shoujo expression... but this one just made scream "Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" with my eyes closed and tighten fists =^w^=. The story, the characters and the romance are dosed in the perfect amount. It's a pity that it's such a short story, but I think it was for the best... This way you can keep a fresh memory of Leo and Yuiko (both characters so endearing :3) and re-read the whole thing as many times as you want!!!!!

6.25 (average) Aaaaaawwww!!!! >.< <3 I first read 16 TO LIFE and I didn't like the plot at all, but I fell in love with Aikawa-sensei's art. Now I'm reading this one and I kinda dig it. Now that I'm in my "shoujo crazy phase", I'm looking for sweet stories and I think this is pretty good. I like that we can also know the guy's point of view and that he tries his best to win the girl fair and square (how often do you see that in a shoujo manga???) It has drama and sometimes it makes no sense, but it's fairly cute. I mean, consider the plot on Kanan's "Kyou koi wo hajimemasu"; I like that one too, don't get me wrong, but it has much more needless drama, the chick is unbearably insecure and their relationship is kinda feable. I don't know... I just think that this story is more like my cup o' tea :3 (Humm... if it only had a teenie-tiny drop of smut, I'd die *¬*... but it's just fine like this xD). The end is quite weak and cheesy, though...

7.50 (good) Another of my guilty pleasures xDDDDD!!!! The story is quite plain and not very plausible, but the display of so many sweet guys is veeeeeery worthy. Personally, I only took 10 brothers into account (Wataru, Louis and Hikaru were out of the question) and my favorites would be Kaname, Natsume and Yuusuke (in that order)... They're so... kyaaaaaaaaaaaa! <3 >///< <3 Anywho, I admit that this is a terrific example of a good male harem ;D

9.50 (excellent) What a delight! Besides the butchery, the action and all other stuff, what's most interesting about this manhwa is that is quite international. I mean, I read it in English, but I do know that the original used both languages (I don't know if this was also in the writing), Japanese and Korean, which their respective characters spoke to each other. So, I found this fact absolutely lovely: that characters and readers were forced to understand another language and doing so, make a new friend. It was funny when Juu and Han just understand each other through basic facial/ body expressions and, the best all, through fights xD (Too bad that it was so short :C)

10.00 (excellent) First manga/anime where I do respect female characters. As for the manga, I have read it all so far and I absolutely love it! As for the anime, I was a little dissapointed with the few chapters and the exaggerated pathetic performance of Raki, but since I'm a feminism fan, I do enjoy the complex and dialectical relationships between the warriors: their solidarity, alterity, understanding and best of all, the fact that romantical love is NOT their ultimate goal.

2.00 (very poor) Seriously? Is it possible to take this seriously? As far as I'm concern... no, it's not. The pets were cute, I'll give them that, but the rest is just lame: the clothing/armor/whateverthatis, the large butt and boobs (and the fewer ribs), the gratuitous secondary characters, the prince (I never got the actual relationship... It seemed to be that he was a bumper sticker that they had to put there without explanation). I liked the opening "Birth", though.

9.00 (very good) Very cute story! What I've liked the most, besides the romance, is that the main couple actually talk to each other about stuff! It may look like it's nothing, but think about it: normally, the chick and/or the guy keeps secrets just "to protect" the other and then all gets messed up, blah, blah. But here it's different, so there are very few misunderstandings, they try to keep things clear and they take care of each other -^_^-

6.50 (above average) Dante is an amazing character (with a nice twist for some of us who know The Divine Comedy), he does really cool things all over the games... So, why do they do this to him and to his fans? There's barely an unified plot, the missions and adventures are kinda boring and the little girl's presence is not really justified. Art and dynamics are quite fine, but just as is it in a game: No matter how appealing may the graphics look, if the story is weak and the gameplay is boring... throw it away.

8.75 (very good) It's so tragically adorable! I didn't read or watch the original FY until I completed the latest translated release and I saw a major evolution (personally, I didn't like the first one at all, I couldn't even pass the 1st episode... too annoying and full of the 90's anime cliches for my taste). Genbu Kaiden is quite different, in my opinion: the jokes, the romance is there of course, but the art is more polished, refined and the characters are more substantial (it was released in the same year that Zettai Kareshi, 2003, so you may appreciate the parallelisms): I like and respect Takiko, I adore Uruki and I'm very fond of the rest of the gang. It's like Watase-sensei had learned from her previous mistakes and wanted to do something more serious.
